Wedding Guest Experience at The Tate House

The Tate House team is always overjoyed to get a glowing review from one of our couples or their families. After working closely for months leading up to the special day, we of course strive to make everything stress-free, seamless and enjoyable for our couples. So, when we get a review from someone in attendance on the Tate House wedding guest experience, it’s an extra special feeling knowing the love and attention we pour into each couple overflows to their guests. Thank you Jackie Riggs of Just J Stylin’ Life for sharing this sweet review!

Wedding Guest Experience at The Tate House

I am writing this review as a wedding guest. I recently attended a wedding here and was blow away by the beauty of this venue. The Tate house is simply stunning. 😍

The ceremony venue is bright and had ceiling-to-floor windows with 180° views. The backdrop for the altar is completely glass, open windows which provides the perfect natural lighting.

The cocktail hour space is the most incredible. As you walk in, you are greeted by a large greenery space with a stone staircase. Up the stairs you have open space with tables that leads to a side room and outdoor patio area. Hour d’vours included creamy black pepper mac & cheese and mini chicken + waffles with honey pepper jam – both of which were delightful.

The side room is in my opinion the most stunning part of Tate House. The classic vintage style room is beautiful with the red velvet couch, embroidered drapes and tiled floor. And right outside the cocktail room and vintage side room is the outdoor space. There is a fountain in the middle with plenty of space for guests to socialize. There is also a small platform with pillars that would be a beautiful spot for photos.

The reception room is the perfect size for a medium wedding – up to about 150 people. Food and beverages are served from an adjacent bar room. Tables are divided on two sides with a dance floor in the middle. The only downside to this wedding was that it ended too early. I would have loved to stay longer!

All in all, Tate House is the most stunning venue I have seen in all the weddings I have attended. The beauty of this place is undeniable. I feel inspired to find a place as beautiful as this when my wedding comes.
