Tate House Payment Terms & Conditions

Contract Signing:

Client understands that by signing the 2 contracts to book a wedding at the Tate House, and you are responsible for all payments specified per wedding package booked. Failure to make payments on time will result in late fees or cancellation of wedding.

Wedding Deposit:

All Packages booked at Tate House require a $5,000.00 deposit. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. If booking a wedding outside of 8 months before the wedding date, half ($2,500.00) of the $5,000.00 is due along with signing the 2 contracts. The remaining $2,500.00 deposit is due 8 months before the wedding. All payments can be made by personal check, money order or credit card.

Wedding Package Payments:

Southern Classic Package ( Offered All Days February – Mid-November ) – 1/3 of the remaining balance is due 90, 60 & 30- days before the wedding.

Magnolia Package ( Offered Sunday – Friday ) & ( Saturdays in the months of February, March & August ) – 1/3 of the remaining balance at your 90, 60 & 30- days before wedding.

Add Ons To Package:

Client agrees to be responsible and not limited to, all add ons beyond what wedding package includes. These additions will be added to the invoice and payment per contracted schedule will be adjusted.

Wedding Decor & Fresh Flowers:

At your 60 day meeting with the Tate House Designer, you decide what you want for Flowers & Decor for your personal flowers, ceremony site, and ballroom reception. That invoice is separate from your wedding package invoice and 1/2 of it is due at your 30-day meeting and the remaining balance is due 10 days before the wedding. No refunds for any changes that are within 2 weeks of wedding.

12 & 10 Day Final:

Client understands that they are to turn in their seating arrangement with guests names on each numbered table in their ballroom diagram. Failure to provide this information may result in a $100.00 penalty. Final payments for all additional guests beyond guaranteed guests count given at 30 days per the signed contract, is due 10 days before the wedding.
