Wedding Wednesday | Tate House Georgia Wedding | Andy and Rebecca

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Correa on their “I do!” The couple tied the knot at the Tate House on September 13th at their romantic vintage wedding.

The newlyweds met through a mutual friend. Here’s how he popped the question: “He called my manager so I could have a Saturday off. That day my friends invited me to go to Botanical Gardens (which he planned). We enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful flowers and the whole time I had no idea that my whole family (some friends) and Andy were waiting in a hidden area. Once we got to where he was I could hear a violin playing “Thousand Years,” but I just thought it was some performing that worked there but when I turned around I saw him standing there with my family behind him. My two friends, Cristy who is a photographer and Fred who is a videographer took footage of the whole thing. Well we met in the middle of a heart of flower pedals and asked to marry me!”

Their wedding ceremony was beautifully traditional with a unique twist – a three-cord ceremony where they braided strings together, representing the bride, groom and God becoming one. We also love that Rebecca said the most special component of their wedding was seeing Andy’s face as she was walking down the aisle.

According to our bride, her groom was actually quite involved in the wedding planning process. She said, “It was great to work as a team.” Their colors were navy, gray and metallic gold and silver.

When we asked why the couple chose to have their wedding at the Tate House, she said, “It was definitely what we were looking for because it had a vintage look. Everything was in house, so we really didn’t have to search outside of the Tate House for anything!” We were happy to host such a sweet and loving couple on their most special day. Congratulations again to the Correas! We wish you a lifetime of happiness.
