Weddings at the Historic Tate House

We offer one of the most beautiful and romantic facilities in the North Georgia region to host a wedding and reception. Several settings inside and out for the ceremony or formal and informal wedding portraits: the grand staircase, the Mediterranean courtyard, the Italian Renaissance porch staircase, the Colonial front porch, the Grecian formal gardens, the European ballroom...and more.

Inside the mansion, our European dining room and panel room seat up to 75 guests, and opens up to a spacious courtyard with a gorgeous backdrop of the North Georgia mountains. Adjacent to the courtyard is the outdoor pavilion for additional seating needed for the ceremony or an outdoor buffet. The lower terrace can be covered by an elegant 45' x 60' canopy which expands the usable space for an exceptional setting for dining, dancing and cocktails. Our new 4,000 square foot ballroom with marble dance floor can seat 250 guests.
