An Upscale, Glamorous Georgia Wedding // The Tate House

Every little girl dreams about her glamorous fairytale wedding, from the dress to the flowers to the cake. Each detail of this upscale Georgia celebration took us back to our childhood of swooning over fairytale weddings. From the gorgeous gown to the helicopter exit, Jaden + Matthew’s wedding was a celebration full of all things glamour, glitz and true love.

Even before Jaden + Matthew’s magical “I do”, their love story had our hearts fluttering over the sweetest and most romantic fairytale moments. After meeting at Jaden’s church, the couple began dating. In December of 2014, Matthew popped the question in the most enchanting way. Jaden shares with us about the special moment:

“We were suppose to be going ice skating in Centennial Park and looking at the Christmas lights. Christmas is my favorite time of the year, so we were taking pictures and walking around the park. As we got to the huge, lit-up Christmas tree, I was taking a selfie of us when he got down on one knee and proposed! It was such a beautiful moment, and he even had his friend hiding to capture it all on camera.”

Jaden + Matthew’s wedding vision came to life and beautifully expressed the glamorous style of the couple. Our bride shares more about what made her and Matthew’s big day so magical!

What was your wedding date and why did you choose it?

Our wedding Date was October 2. We chose this date because I have always loved October weddings! October is such a beautiful time of year, and October 2nd is also my parents wedding anniversary. I wanted to share this very special day with them!

What was your overall vision for your wedding?

My overall vision was a day that was just glamorous, beautiful, and jaw dropping– and that was exactly what it was! I truly felt like my wedding looked like it belonged on the cover of a magazine!

How involved was your groom in the wedding planning process?

Matthew was actually so helpful and very involved. He helped me make many decisions that most men don’t care about, but he wanted to make this experience as little stress for me as he could.

Why did you choose your wedding color palette?

I have always loved white and silver. I really wanted that celebrity-glam white. My floral arrangements were mostly white, and my cake was white with silver bling on it.

How important are the typical wedding traditions? Did you plan on doing something outside of the norm to make your glamorous wedding more of your own?

The traditions were very important to us! I have always loved weddings and would watch wedding videos for hours growing up, so it was really important to me to have those typical tradition. However, I also made things my own and youthful. I think one of the coolest things we did at my wedding that was outside the norm was our helicopter exit. We really wanted a different amazing exit that made our wedding that much more glamorous!

Why did you choose the Tate House as your wedding venue?

We chose the Tate House because a Pink Mansion is as glamorous as it gets! The beautiful Tate House and the pink marble bought me instantly. I could not have chosen a better place, and the Tate House team truly gave me the wedding of my dreams. It was absolutely breath-taking and my wedding was more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. The Tate House does not disappoint!
