The Tate House Wedding and Reception General Information

Thank you for considering the Tate House for your dream wedding. We invite you to come for a tour and to experience the magnificent beauty of this 27-acre estate that combines European elegance and Southern charm.

Our fees include use of the grounds of the Tate House applicable to your event, the event coordinator and staff, setup and breakdown of your event, necessary linens, glassware, silverware, and plating. Below are the additional items included as a courtesy in our fees.

Event pricing consists of a ceremony fee (if applicable), a facility fee and the cost of your menu and beverage choices.

*The ceremony fee includes:

  • White padded chairs
  • One hour rehearsal
  • Wedding planner including three hours of planning and the entire day of your event
  • Set-up and take-down of ceremony items

*The facility fee includes:

  • Fully decorated and landscaped facility
  • Grand piano and staircase
  • Assortment of centerpieces to chose from
  • Large parking area
  • Floor-length white or ivory table linens and napkins
  • China, crystal and silver
  • Complimentary dressing rooms for bride and groom
  • Chiavari ballroom chairs and all necessary tables
  • Marble gift table
  • Coordination of vendor arrival and placement of items
  • Reception set-up
  • Marble dance floor
  • Complimentary champagne toast for bride and groom

*Food/Beverage Cost:

No outside food or beverage is allowed. For beer and wine service, the bartender fee is $150 per bartender. In estimating your headcount, children 5 years or older must be included. In addition, all vendors who will require a meal must be included.
